Keith Granet

Keith has led his career with a vision to strengthen the business side of the design profession by establishing good business practices and ultimately communicating the value of design to the consumer. He is the President of the management consulting firm Granet & Associates, which he founded in 1991 to provide strategic, financial, operational, management and licensing services to the design industry. The firm has had the privilege of working with celebrated clients from architectural, interior, landscape design firms and key home brands. Granet firmly believes in helping firms shift their business from “the things you have to do” to “the things you want to do.” His earlier career was spent working directly for Arthur Gensler at Gensler. He is also the author of The Business of Design, Balancing Creativity and Profitability, and The Business of Creativity: How to Build the Right Team for Success. He guest lectures at UCLA and at the University of Southern California, is the founder of the Designer Speakers’ Bureau, co-founder of the Leaders of Design Council and produced and hosted “Inside the Business of Design,” an interview series. Keith is also the founder and Chairman of the Board of Studio Designer, the next generation of technology to transform the interior design industry by connecting clients, designers, architects, showrooms and manufacturers in a cloud environment. Granet is a graduate of Hartwick College where he served as a Trustee, and he lives with his family in Los Angeles.

Fred Nicolaus

Fred Nicolaus is the executive editor of Business of Home and the co-host of BOH's weekly news podcast, The Thursday Show. As a journalist, he has been covering the world of interior design and high-end home renovation for nearly two decades, with bylines at Elle Decor and House Beautiful in addition to his work for BOH.

Ellen Rose

Ellen is a multidisciplinary designer and creative strategist at SYPartners. She combines user-centered design methodologies, emotional intelligence, and visual craft to bring clarity to complex transformation initiatives. 

With a background in fine arts and set design, Ellen is driven by the belief that even amidst rapid technological change, creativity remains a profoundly human practice. She is focused on creating AI-fueled design workflows that supercharge our creativity, imagination, and ambition.

Anthony Quigley

Anthony leads SYPartners’ exploration of AI and emerging technologies, focusing on how these systems are changing the human experience of work and opening new possibilities for organizational operations.

Through ongoing research, experimentation, and prototyping, he helps make AI tangible inside the tools, workflows, and environments where teams already work. His focus is on architecting AI-enhanced systems that deepen human capability, connect information across the organization, and help SYP and its clients shape more adaptive, imaginative, and human-centered ways of working.
